Here you can find the TTF version of the very nice Linux monospaced terminal font -- Terminus.

Q. Scalable version?
A. Yes, when the TFT monitors and/or resolutions 2048x1536 and higher become the standard. Most probably TrueType looking somewhat like size 10x20. An italic version may or may not be included.

Q. Win32 version?
A. No, there are problems with the raster font codepages and sizes. You can try the pseudo-TrueType version by Eric Shao-yu Cheng.

Problems with Eric Cheng TTF version:
- Windows 1251 encoding (and probably others) do not work
- Bold font has weird metrics
- ASCII art lines are not correctly aligned, mc and other curses applications look weird


After some Googling I found a way to make a good looking TTF version of the Terminus font.

Tools being used:
- fontforge
- FontLab
- bdfresize
- potrace

My version doesn't have the problems of Eric Cheng's version, works fine in native and Java applications.
There are probably some issues (I'm not font expert), but it works well in most cases.
